Nellie`s Crochet Knit and Purl Stitches by Janelle Schlossman Circa 1979 Years ago I made up this stitch pattern. Usually crochet rib stitch patterns are made by using a combination of post stitches. But because I wanted the look of a knitted rib and a lighter softer fabric I came up with this. I`ve used this rib pattern on hats, baby sweaters, booties and scarves and the borders of afghans. It's real simple and I hope you like the look of this rib pattern. :-)
