Rosary or Prayer Pouch

A nice basic little pouch to hold your rosary, or to
tuck a prayer in. Also nice for a Prayer Rock.
Materials:
*small amount of Aunt Lydia`s Denim crochet cotton
*size H hook
1: Ch 9; 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 6 ch, 3 sc in last ch.
Working in unworked loops of base chain; sc in next 6 ch, join
With a sl st to 1st sc.
2: Ch 1; sc in back loop of each st around. Join with a sl st to
1st sc. (18 sc)
3: Working in both loops now; sc in each sc around. Join.
4-11: Repeat row 3.
12: Ch 1, turn. Sc in same st as turning ch, sc in next 7 sc.
13-16: Ch 1, turn. Sc in same st as turning ch, sc in each
sc across.
17: ch 1, turn. Sc in same st as turning ch, sc in next 3 sts, ch 3;
sc in remaining 4 sts. Fasten off.
Sew a pony bead or button onto middle front of row 5.
