Omnis
spiritus laudet Dominum!
Ps 150.6
Weekly worship is led by a choir of twenty adults and children. The choir is affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music. Musical standards are high with currently one RSCM St Cecilia Award holder, four choristers holding the Salisbury Diocesan Bishop's Award to Choristers and eight singing regularly as members of the RSCM South & West Cathedral Singers.
Morning service reflects the broad church of the congregation by including music from many traditions ranging from formal settings of the Rite A Eucharist (e.g. Grayston-Ives (Sarum 1986) & Southbroom Service (Riding)) to modern worship songs and choruses. The church enjoys a fairly extensive music library, local churches are welcome to borrow sets of music on payment of an appropriate deposit.
New members are always welcome. Youngsters aged 8 and above should enjoy singing and be competent readers. Adults must have good singing voices (Alto, Tenor or Bass) and able to read music. Contact the Organist & Choirmaster to arrange an audition.
