Now for the obligatory personal crud no one reads with all kinds of hyperlinks to ignore:
I was born in April of 1958 during a national recession, of course... I mostly grew up in Grayling, MI near the banks of the world's famous AuSable River . I served a tour of duty in the Navy on board the nuclear powered aircraft carrier U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69). I lived for 13 years in Traverse City, MI before moving to Sterling Heights to work for GM. I'm a member of the Michigan United Conservation Clubs, Michigan Sharp-tailed Grouse Association, Steam Automobile Club of America, Henry Ford Museum, and Fleet Reserve Association. My interests include hunting (especially the wily and elusive ruffed grouse), fishing, cross country skiing, canoeing, genealogy, hiking, history, science and technology, American Water Spaniels, military technologies and history, steam power systems and, OF COURSE, since I'm single--available wild wimmen (call me, PLEAAAASSSSEEE)...
