Web Rings have been a popular method to increase the number of hits received by a certain site. Not only do you get increased hits, you get DIRECTED hits. The WebRing of Knots Knuts, devoted to sites that have Knots Landing content on them, allows you to increase your hits and get a good response -- because the people looking at your site are actually looking for what you offer.

The WebRing of Knots Knuts costs no money, but is very similar to a reciprocal link. You can try an example of what the WebRing of Knots Knuts does below:

Joining the WebRing of Knots Knuts is a very simple process. Only one qualification:   you must have Knots Landing material on your site.

The joining process:

1. Apply here.  You will be given a Site Id # and your site will be added to the WebRing of Knots Knuts Queue.

2. Copy the code you'll find here.  Change it to reflect your site id# by following the instructions below.  Please note:  ONLY Change the parts listed below.  It is very important to the integrity of the WebRing to have the html code stay as it is with only little information changed.

3. Email ZCREDTDOC@aol.com  stating that you have inserted the html code for the Knots Knuts WebRing on your HomePage. 

4. Your page will then be reviewed and accepted within 72 hours, and then you are also part of the web ring. We Reserve the right to deny membership to the WebRing of Knots Knuts.

Hints on code insertion

_SITE_ID_HERE_   Change to your site id#.   Usually a 3 digit number like 001.

_SITE_OWNER_EMAIL_  Change to your email address.  Be sure to use your full email address. Ie. joeuser@anywhere.com.

YOUR_NAME_HERE_ Replace this with what you would like to go in the webring code that says:  This WebRing of Knots Knuts site owned by  YOUR_NAME_HERE_

AOL PERSONAL PUBLISHER USERS

Personal Publisher automatically adds the <BR> tag at the end of each html line.  This has caused some problems (making the webring appear enormous on your pages).  This is easily taken care of by making the code one long line of code (no line breaks at the end of each line of coding).  If you are using AOLs Personal Publisher and need assistance (or have any other questions/problems/comments) please email ZCREDTDOC@aol.com.
