Background

I am a sole practitioner based in Chesterfield. I have had my own portfolio of clients since 1989 and have worked in professional accountancy practices in the North Derbyshire, North Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire area for 15 years. I progressed to the level of Practice Manager being responsible for the running of a branch and serving a mixed portfolio of clients with regard to their accounts and taxation matters. I have specialised in the servicing of business start-ups, smaller businesses and non audit clients.

My interests include golf and squash and I served as the Chairman of the Sheffield Branch of the AAT for six years until 2001. I am married to Susannah who is a qualified book-keeper and acts as a consultant to the practice.
