This is on my mother's side. There is a book available about this family that my cousin James Florence wrote which follows the family back to the immigrant. I am going to be doing a book on this line based on his book, but adding in all our information that I have found.

Emma Siggins White wrote a book in 1902 called "Descendants of John Walker of Wigton, Scotland", 722 pages covering all these families and more, their descendants, their history, wills, pictures, much narrative and first-person accounts. Histories of Rockbridge and Augusta Counties, VA, its churches, land, etc. This book is out of print and can possibly be ordered on Interlibrary Loan.
