Major Club Projects
The biggest project of the year is our Christmas Tree Lot. The lot is located on El Camino Real. This project requires the full support of the entire Club for a 45 day commitment starting Thanksgiving weekend and running till the lot is cleared around New Year's Day.
Our Cioppino Crab Dinner is held the 3rd or 4th Saturday of January at St. Dunstan's Hall. This is a great time of fun and "all you can eat" feasting. At this event we serve a sell-out crowd of approximately 420 people.
Every spring our Club photographs and finger prints all the elementary school children in Millbrae. In a matter of minutes, this information can be transmitted to every police department in California through the TRAK Computer Program, which we supplied to the Millbrae Police Department.
In June, we put on our Annual Pancake Breakfast. In the past year we served approximately 1500 people. The funds from this event are designated to our Youth Baseball Program.
We are also quite proud of our Youth Baseball Program which we started over 35 years ago. Each year up to 750 boys and girls of all abilities participate in the program and learn about teamwork and sportsmanship, as well as having a great time.
