Rikki was the first "little girl" in the Argus Kennel family. She was destined for great things, having earned her International title as Baby Championat from the International All Breed Kennel Club of America with the highest rating possible (S-1) from judges Dick Bickerford, Donna Cole, and Patti Long-Smith. She was also honored with her first Best in Show (Puppy).

Rikki had also gone on to finish her International Youth Titles with the highest ratings possible as well as another Best in Show (Puppy).

She completed her International Adult Championship at the summer '98 shows with the highest ranking (V-1) under judges Joel Evans, Tomas Gomez, and Edna St. Hilaire and recently completed her Ehren (Honor) Championship. Rikki is also AKC Championship pointed.

In addition to competing in the regular classes at the IABKC shows, Rikki followed in the tradition of her older cousins by competing in International Brace Competition with Am/Int. CH Shalimar's Top of the Mark, CD. They were undefeated in Best in Show Brace. Recently,

Rikki showed a lot of promise in the field as well as in the conformation ring. Having completed her puppy training for hunt tests, she instinctively was very birdy. On one training trip, she was introduced to live birds. Once she got into the routine of retrieving the birds, she no longer wanted to "play" with the bumpers. She knew where the real fun is!

Following along in the footsteps of other multi-purpose golden retrievers from Argus, Rikki also enjoyed agility training. She was by far a "no-fear" kind of lady.

Having completed her AKC Canine Good Citizen award, Rikki took time off to become a "mom." Her first litter was the Marilyn Monroe litter which was sired by Am/Int CH Shalimar's Top of the Mark, CD, SDHF and was born in August 1999.

Rikki was bred by Susan Maloch of Shyan Golden Retrievers and handled by Karen Bruneau.
