A Word about APSU Records...
It should be noted that formal records for track and field were not kept at this university until 1988, the arrival of Coach Elvis Forde. He has done the work keeping the record books since then. And he can take credit for coaching all of the athletes on this record board....Although we had a tough time with injuries at OVC Indoors in '98, the ladies still posted 5 new indoor records in '98. 1999 marked the recording of 11 school records for the indoor season. The most impressive to me being the 2:10.4 by Sheena and the fact that Ayesha set 3 school records in the the jumps at one meet. Unbelievable. The ladies from Barbados are stars in the OVC.
