LIGHTNING… CAMERA… ACTION Lightning & Thunder are the focus of a feature length documentary film currently being produced by New Jersey based, Corn Filmworks, Inc. Corn's cameras will be filming the singing duo on and off the stage in the coming months capturing the extraordinary story of Lightning and Thunder, Milwaukee’s Singing Sweethearts. Lightning & Thunder are the Milwaukee based husband and wife singing duo that have been entertaining fans across the Midwest with their Neil Diamond/ABBA revue for over 16 years. Lightning replicates the grit and gusto of early Neil Diamond while Thunder belts out the hits of ABBA and Patsy Cline. The films Director, Greg Kohs explains, “In many ways, Lightning and Thunder lead different lives from most of us. Yet anyone who has had a dream, struggled to make a living, raised a family, or dealt with unexpected tragedy will relate with their story”. Kohs has won numerous awards for his directing work on national television commercials and documentary films and is no stranger to Milwaukee. It was here, 10 years ago while filming a Harley-Davidson documentary that Kohs was first exposed to the Lightning & Thunder experience. “There was Lightning singing Sweet Caroline up on the bar with about 50 grizzled bikers dancing their chaps off.” From that point on Kohs, like so many others across the Midwest was hooked on LT’s unique brand of entertainment.
