A word or two about copyrights: I ask that you NOT use my personal pictures on your page - make your page your own and use your own photos and ideas. Unless you make the effort you have no idea what goes into getting some of these photos. I try to use mostly my own photos to make my Page different, and I wish other people would too! Otherwise every Page will have alot of the same photos

George Strait owns his name and his image and it is only with his blessing that we his fans are able to use marketing/advertising/promotional photos on our Webpages. That we are allowed to take photos of him in concert is a delight and a privilege. On such marketing photos where I state "Collection of Linda Robbins, Str8fever@aol.com" I am clarifying that if it is copied it is known who scanned it - me. I take responsibility for scanning and using those photos. Other photos will say that they are from my site but the photographer was a friend, and I thank those friends most sincerely for allowing me to use their special photos.

Thanks to Mr George Strait, his Management, and MCA Records for allowing fans like me to use those wonderful marketing photos.

In regards to 'Strait Connection' which was shut down due to their own decision not to make changes per Mr. Strait's attorneys - my belief is that the site went too commerical when it joined 'Roughstock.' The owner had stated long ago that he was no longer a George Strait fan. In my opinion the owners of both sites mis-used and abused the Strait name. Mr. Strait was definitely within his rights as the artist in requesting them to make changes and I applaud him for his actions.

In deference to the statements made by the site owners mentioned above, I know for a fact through my own personal experience that Mr. Strait is not only a kind and fair man, but is an artist who not only genuinely appreciates his fans but who goes out of his way quietly to do special personal things for his fans.
