PAST and PRESENT
Past and Present are as one
Neither one can be undone
What has been and what will be
Are all a part of what makes me.
Arguments split the Family Tree,
So I've heard from parents knee.
So now I look from sea to sea
For those we've lost so heedlessly.
Some have passed and some still be
These I search for ceaselessly.
So I look for my kin where ever they be
So my sons will know who they are you see!

Hello! I'm Delaine Starr Piper Hutchison.
I'm 47 years old and been married to the
same fellow for over 30 years. We have three sons, 3 grandsons, 1 grand daughter,
and one half grand daughter.
I live on the Northeast Cape Fear River
in Pender Co North Carolina. And outside of times like when Hurricane Fran
came through and wiped us out it's a pretty wonderful place to live. She
hit hard but it's not the first we've made it through, although this one
did us the most hurt in damages. At least like I've told the cousins in the
Midwest and those on the West Coast, I at least get a warning when a Hurricane
is on the way and can run! Not like tornados or earthquakes!
: )
At anyrate we're all put back together and I
can get back to my first love. Hunting down the family past and history,
which is very fascinating and enjoyable.

My Hobbies and Interests are:
Aside from my Genealogical research I
enjoy gardening, reading, woods walks, camping, fishing, sewing, crocheting
and knitting, crafts of all kinds, leather working, hunting, fishing, boating
painting, embroidery just about anything you can imagine doing.
Also I love messing with my
computer(which I built myself along with the ones my husband youngest son
are using and the original one that my Dad used and then passed along to
my brother-in-law) and writing little programs to do what I want it to (
I use basic as that's what was on my first one which was an old TSR80) basically
little games etc..
I am really interested in learning
more about the Native Americans as there is a strong Heritage in the family.
Just not been able to find the documentation on it yet or prove out the tribes
they claimed to be kin to. Which are Cherokee, Cheyenne, Onieda, Seneca,
Blackfoot (from Canada so not positive if it's the Blackfoot tribe or a sub
tribe of a Cheif Blackfoot (seems like I've found a reference to this). Also
been told that there was a woman that married a seaman relative that was
a Peruvian Indian. No one remembers her name as they always called her the
Peruvian and they say she wore a bowler type hat and smoked a pipe.
