Living Options Devon is a user group that is run by people with physical and sensory disabilities and is financed by Health & Social services. It began in 1990 and has produced a number of reports on service effectiveness that have influenced purchasing decisions in the area.

Living Options exists for four main purposes:-

  • to identify issues of concern to users & carers
  • to maintain the Living Options Working Party which consists of service users, carers and representatives of user organisations in Exeter & East Devon
  • to participate in consultation exercises with health, social services & local authorities, promoting the interests of service users
  • to undertake research & evaluations of current service provision
