Nolan attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on a baseball scholarship and received a degree in journalism? He later went to Boston where he did graduate work in Communications at Emerson College.

Nolan worked as a reporter for nearly a year in New Jersey, but later moved to New York City to pursue a career as an actor an stand-up comedian? He does some great impressions!
