- Can I submit my site?

If your site is about a Pittsburgh band making dark music, a promoter of the events relating to these bands, a DJ that plays the music here, or if you just *know* you belong here.....-submit- your site below and it will be checked out.

- What does "dark music" mean?

It can include any number of genres such as: gothic, industrial, ethereal, darkwave, techno and many more....it's the least limiting term I could think of.

- So I'm pretty sure I qualify, Why should I join?

The greatest advantage to you, the website owner, will be more hits to your site and more exposure for your page. But it will also generate a sort of online unity between members of the ring. Also, it might be useful for someone new to these types of things.
For example, a person searching around the web happens to view a site about a Pittsburgh gothic band and decides they want to see more related sites. All they have to do is click on a link in the ring's display on that page, and they might even end up going to *your* page.

- Hey, I live in Pittsburgh and my page is dark but i'm not all about music!

My best advice to you is be patient and wait for the Pittsburgh Goth Ring, which should be going up for Pittsburgh area stores that sell dark goodies, or personal pages, etc. Please don't be offended by this seperation, it's just to narrow the topic. If someone is interested in music they want to see some music-related sites. Just as someone who wants to see who else is lurking about the scene will want to see sites related to that. That's all.
