MRS. RODREGUIZ'S BEANS
This recipe was shared with me by another Mountain Gourmet Consultant, Kim who lives in Texas. This recipe was given to her by her next door neighbor Mrs. Rodreguiz, who is a cook supreme. When Kim asked her for the recipe to her beans, she told Kim "I add a little of this and a little of that." Kim says it took at least 20 trys to come close to her recipe and it is now the only way that she will fix pintos for her family. For those who are afraid of the hot, this recipe is not hot. For a mild recipe only add two or three jalapenos, remember seeding and taking the membranes out of jalapenos takes most of the hot out. Or, if your really wimpy about hot, use a bell pepper. Thanks Kim.... Thanks Mrs. Rodreguiz
