Richard Starkey, also known as Ringo Starr, was
born in Liverpool, England on July 7, 1940. Ringo was born to
Elsie and Richard Starkey. Ringo was first in the band of Eddie Clayton.
Ringo got his nickname when he played drums for Rory Storm and
the hurricanes. Ringo became one of the Beatles in 1962. Ringo
married Maureen Cox and they had three children before they divorced on July
1975. Ringo married Barbara Bach on April 27, 1981. In 1989,
Ringo formed the Allstar band. |
