FUN WORLD HISTORY
(sorry for all the spelling errors)
It all started in the Winter of 1995, when LEGO City was opening up it's new beach district, LEGO Beach and Puerto Lego. In it, plans called for many attractions, two fo which would be "Balloon''s Casino"(#6409) and "El Resturante", an Italian bistro(#6376). They both opened succsefully in Winter of '95 and enjoyed a long year and a half of sucsesful buisness. However, luck wouldnt last forever, in the autum of 1997, a great storm struck, destroying everthing in its path. "El Resturante" featured little damage, but the local Monorail System fell on Ballon's Casino. Both were forced to close there doors, along with most of the rest of LEGO City. However, later on, LEGO City announced plans to re-devolep itself. Plans called for a new high-tech train dubbed "Black Thunder", two stadiums to host both the 2000 Olympics and the 1998 World Cup, and a minurature theme park, dubbed "the Fun Fair"(#6547). The Fun Fair opened succsesfully, succeseful enough to move to a new location. The new location off of I-95, and next door to the world's largest McDonalds resturaunt. The theme park opened there with so mucj succeses that Fun Fair became Fun World, and it had the urge to grow, so they did. First off, the purchased the land were was the World's Largest McDonalds(now waiting its new Downtown home) and a stretch of I-95. But after that purchase, they wondered, what to do? Thenm it came to them. The went out and purchased Ballon Enterprises, owner of the ever so famous Ballon's casino and "El Resturante", Italian Bistro. They then merged a re-built Ballons Casino and current Fun World. They also built the "Parrot and Monkey Jungles".What to do next? Well, then NASA came in in. Fun World was located right on LEGO Bay, and they arranged wiht NASA's underwater exploration divison build a real under water reef. NASA agreed as long as they ahd full use fo the tank. So, there it came, the world's largest LEGO Aqauurium(#6560). Surrounded by windows for viewing. What next? How about a show. A dolphin show! And it happened. The Roof Top Dolphin Show opened up. Next up, they decided to add mroe attractions, so a "Diver Dan's Raft Tour's" opened up, and with it, came the most popular Fun Fair attraction, "the Duck", an amphibious vehicle. We need more! And so it came. A Pizzeria, opened up, and, so did an exact replica of "El Resturante", Ballons and El Resturante were together once again. Then, people who visited the park were given a survey and asked, "What would you like to see NEXT at FunWorld?" Rides! Rides! and more Rides! Thats all they seemed to want. So FunWorld designers went to work on what be the most expnesive FunWorld project yet, not only for engineering, but maintence, as a whole new fleet of vehicles, ranging from Back Hoes to Dump Trucks would need to be purchased to make such a ride, and, FunWorlds limited space didnt allow a new route for a new vehcile. BINGO! The idea came, the FunWorld tram, allways used to be touring visitors from place to place, started a new route, one that would take it thourgh, "Outback, the Crossing", a new multi-million dollar ride, that would require building a large control building, disguised as an Outback Airstrip, a fully automated river crosiing(known to desginers as the "Amazon Crossing"), plus many automated characters, and two automated vehciles, one(a yellow Plymouth Rallye) was requiered to flip over right in front of the tram, the other(a Land Rover Defender 110 Pickup), was requiered to slide out of the way to make way for a large airplane that would partivipate in the ride, the hardest challenge, howver, was making "Ally" the alligator, the reason why was because this automated character was required to be in water. The attraction opened, and "Outback: the Crossing", which later became corproately sponsered by OCTAN, prooved the most popular attraction there. What's next at FunWorld? The ride planners are right now planning the future, and what will happen? We arent sure?
PICTURES WILL BE UP ONCE I BUY A NEW SCANNER, THAT WORKS.
