Mike Campbell has appeared in concerts and jazz festivals across the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia and Canada. He has performed with Sarah Vaughan, Tuck & Patti, Henry Mancini, Nancy Wilson, Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie and Benny Carter, and has recorded with Nancy Wilson, Donald Byrd, Moacir Santos, and Roger Miller, among others. Mike has also contributed his talents to several movie soundtracks and numerous TV and radio commercials. He has served on the Board of Governors for NARAS. As a member of SAG, AFTRA and A.F. of M., he has performed in over forty television shows.
Mike has recorded seven solo albums, and is featured on the Herb Geller autobiographical "Playing Jazz" on Fresh Sound Records.
Mike teaches at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California, and serves as its Vocal Program Director. He was Chairman of the Vocal Music Department and a teacher at the renowned Grove School of Music for ten years, and has presented voice clinics worldwide. Mike gives private singing lessons and performance classes. He has two vocal instruction videos released by Warner Bros, and has authored a sightsinging book and a vocal harmony book, both published by Hal Leonard.
