JAMES ANDREW TINSLEY

JAMES ANDREW TINSLEY son of Obediah & Susan FIGGATT Tinsley, was born 1/17/1859 in Kanawha Co. WV and died there. 2/26/1944.

James married Maggie R. CONEY 8/23/1888 of Kanawha, the daughter of George & Elizabeth DUDDING Coney. She was b-1/27/1869 d-3/22/1903.

They lived in the Tyler Mt. area near Charleston, and are buried in the Obediah Tinsley family cemetery on Kondyke Rd. Big Tyler.

Two children were of this marriage Stanley Britton and Herbert Criffee Tinsley. Stanley is buried in the Obediha Tinsley Cemetery, Klondyke Rd. Tyler Mt. and Herbert Criffiee Tinsley is buried in the Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.

HERBERT CRIFFEE TINSLEY Tinsley 8/5/1891-1/1970 m- 12/23/1911 in Kanawha County, to Lula MARTIN (sister to Goldie) 1893-1960.

They had three children:

a. William 5/19/1913 - 1980 m-Vera ? no issue.
b. Kenneth m-Vicki
c. Julian 1/1/1916 - 11/1980 m- abt 1940 Freda H. EDWARDS
