My name is Brett Domue, I am a 28 year old Business Analyst for ASML in Wilton, CT. I currently live in Fairfield, CT, though I lived in York, Pennsylvania from 1987 until 1999. Prior to that, I lived in Danbury, Connecticut for 10 years and Meriden, Connecticut for 2 1/2 years.
I am a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with honors in Economics and Business and a Math minor. I have returned to graduate schoolpursuuing my MBA in Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) and International Business (IB) from Fairfield University.. Like everyone else, while I am happy with my current job, there is always room for improvement. Here you can view my resume.
For a number of year, my hobby has been collecting sports cards. No, not those shiny new plastic things that the manufacturers want us to believe are cards, but real, honest to goodness cardboard (silk, leather, etc.) cards that were put out long ago. My main collecting goal is to eventually have every pre-World War Two Hall of Fame baseball card, in low grade of course. I am also trying to pick up every post-war Hall of Fame rookie card from all four major sports. Here you can view the dreaded wantlist. Along with my collection, I also enjoy doing research within the hobby. I have a couple of ongoing projects, such as the pre-World War Two Hall of Fame Alphabetical Checklist and the post-World War Two Hall of Fame rookie card checklists.
Not too long ago, I met this great bunch of fellow card collectors, the OBC. This group of card traders has been one of the best things ever to happen to my collection. This is a great bunch of guys, and I would recomend this group to anyone who enjoys collecting Old Baseball Cards. Here is a like to the Old Baseball Cards web page.
