Petunia's Window to the World

Within the confines of my home

the traffic never ceases.

Husband, kids, and grandchildren;

I love them all to pieces!

By being all that I should be

to all____I need a clone!

But as the day draws near an end,

I take some time alone;

That peaceful time of serenity

while into my PJ's I dress.

Glancing around at my happy home

____Oh my, this house is a mess!

Looking through my window

I take a moment to dream

about the many places

that I have never been.

Waterfalls, quaint architect,

and rivers so serene;

The world is full of beauty

in pictures I have seen.

If I should never travel

and it's likely I may not,

I'll just be ever greatful for

that thing they call____the "snap shot"!
