Our History & Goal:

United Wesleyan Church began on June 7, 1998. The church began as a result of a merger of two likeminded churches uniting as one . . . hence the name: United Wesleyan.
The two congregations thought that they could serve God more effectively and reach out to the county in a better way if they were joined together
. . . hence the reasoning for the joining.
The main goal of United Wesleyan Church is to reach out to the people of Macomb county and bring them into a loving, saving relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that God wants to build a great church in Macomb County and there are enough people to do it! Perhaps you may be one of them! Prayerfully consider, if you live within driving distance of the church, to visit us and see if this may be God's plan for your life.

The People:

You will not find a more loving and gracious people than you will in United Wesleyan Church. The age group of the church varies from new born babies, children, teenagers, college-age, young adults, middle-aged, and senior saints.
You will also find a committed group of friendly believers who desire to see the church grow and reach out in and to the community. If they sound too good to be true, come and see for yourself!

The Place:

We are currently meeting at a Christian private school. This is helpful to us because of what the facility offers. We meet in the school chapel which has pews, a pulpit, and a piano. We also have access to class rooms for Sunday School, the cafteria for our monthly church meals, plenty of parking, and high visability for easy directions. We are grateful to the school for allowing us to rent their facilities until we purchase our own . . . which we are looking for!

The Ministries:

* Sunday School: We currently have 1 class for all adult ages and two classes for children. As we grow, we will hope to begin a Teen class.

* Women's Fellowship
:
Meets in the area restaurants and in the homes of parishioners for a time of Bible study, food, fellowship, prayer, and sharing.

* Men's Fellowship: Meets once a month (Summer and Fall months) in area restaurants for breakfast, fellowship, Bible study, and sharing. Meetings are loosely patterned after the Promise Keepers men's meetings.
