I am a huge fan of science fiction. I started by reading, my earliest memory of a book is "Childhood's End" by Arthur C. Clarke. I also loved "Anthem" by Ayn Rand. Pretty sophisticated books for my 10 year old mind. Then I began watching Star Trek in the 1960's.
I love ALL the versions and generations of Trek, from Kirk right through Porthos the Beagle ... not to intimate that Captain Kirk was a dog. LOL.
I also love the original Battlestar Galactica, and Richard Hatch (the original Apollo) is a friend and an incredible human being. If you have ever been part of his inspirational workshops you know what I mean.
I am currently totally in love with a small, short lived tv series called "Firefly." I just recently saw the major movie called "Serenity." Firefly Fans call it the BDM (big damn movie.) You can check out thsi lovely little universe on DVD.
And then, of course, I have always been inspired by and an enthusiastic devotee of NASA. Our real life outer space entity. I am a standing member of the Orange County Space Society. Be sure to check them out.
