Incenses add mood to your surroundings and magic to your life. These hand-blended incenses are made with the best quality frankincense, myrrh, and other gum resins. I add fragrant woods, herbs, flowers, and oils using ancient herbal traditions and modern principles of aromatherapy. It works best used, a pinch at a time, on self-burning charcoal tablets, but you can also heat it in a metal or porcelain dish over a candle, sprinkle it on top of a woodburning stove, or simmer it in a potpourri pot.

Incenses are
available as either 2/3 oz. in old-fashioned corked glass vial or 1 oz.
in ziploc bag--both forms are $5.00 each or three for $13.00.

Self-burning charcoal,
package of five 33 mm coals--convenient size for single use--$1.50
per package.
How to use: Hold edge of charcoal tablet
in match flame until it begins to fizzle (that's the self-starter igniting).
Immediately place it on a heat-tolerant surface such as a flat rock or
ceramic dish containing a layer of sand, gravel, or kitty litter.
Let the coal burn for a moment so it's well lit, then sprinkle a pinch
of incense on top (you need only a little bit--it's concentrated!).
Additional pinches can be burned as you desire, on the same coal.
Charcoal may be broken into pieces before use.
Abramelin
From an old cabalistic recipe containing cinnamon,
myrrh, galangal, etc., for contacting one's Higher Self or Holy Guardian
Angel, and for "rising on the planes" of consciousness. Sacred to the Sun
and the angelic plane.
Alexandra
A blend of frankincense, lavender, and jasmine,
for psychic power, protection, emotional well-being, peace, love, and blessings
of the Goddess.
Aphrodite
Rose, musk, and jasmine invoke a romantic atmosphere,
Venus/Aphrodite, and other Goddesses of Love and Beauty. Also creates stimulating
atmosphere for friendship, creativity, conversation
Astarte
Middle Eastern flowers and patchouli for love,
pleasure, fertility, and creativity. Invokes Astarte, Ishtar, other Great
Mother Goddesses, plus Venus/Aphrodite and Goddesses of Love.
Astral Flight
Jasmine and other lunar flowers invoke psychic
influences and the astral plane, for scrying, divination, astral projection,
and Moon rituals. Sacred to the Moon and the angel Gabriel, archangel of
Water, the Moon, and the Western quarter.
Bayberry
Bayberry pure and simple evokes protection, clear
vision, and essence of the Winter Solstice. Invokes the Higher Self.
Cleopatra
Erotic blend from Ptolemaic Egypt, to attract and
entice a lover to greater love and passion. Contains patchouli, sandalwood,
and other perfumes of passion.
Consecration
Sandalwood and other sacred oils and herbs combine
in a mixture designed for consecrating magical tools and altar objects;
also good for clearing sacred space.
Cornucopia
Magnetic and Earthy blend for prosperity and good
fortune. Also attracts love, friendship, and success. Resonates with Jupiter,
Venus, Earth energy, and the angel Uriel, archangel of Earth and the North.
Dragonbane
A masculine scent with bay, musk, patchouli; designed
for protection, defense, and getting rid of evil and negativity. Invokes
the energy of Mars and Michael, the Dragonslayer, archangel of Fire and
the South.
Drive and Bind
A binding incense, to protect from negative energy
and to keep people from bothering you. Good for getting rid of unwanted
attentions. Invokes the energy of Saturn.
Egyptian Ritual
This unusual mixture is based on an ancient Egyptian
recipe and conjures up memories of far-away times and places. Good for
rituals, magical power, spells, and circle-casting. This one is hard to
describe, but it includes juniper and bergamot.
Frankincense and Myrrh
Vibrates with the highest spiritual energies and
influences, powerful deities, celestial planes; for rituals, readings,
meditation, or a generally positive atmosphere. Sacred to the Sun, Sky
Goddesses, and the Great Mother. It is said that when one burns frankincense
and myrrh, the Goddess listens.
Golden Aura
A sun incense, for health, wealth, success, and
other blessings. Cinnamon and sandalwood combine with solar herbs and flowers
for healing and luck. Also invokes the angel Raphael, archangel of Air,
healing, the Sun, and the East.
Hecate
Flowers and herbs sacred to the Crone, for wisdom,
power, knowledge, and enchantments. Also good for scrying. Ruled by Saturn
and all Elder Goddesses and Crones.
Helios
Heliotrope and spices for attracting the energy
of the Sun. Good for healing, prosperity, success, and good luck. Archangel
Raphael.
Hexbegone
Rosemary and other purifying herbs and fragrances
in a rose-scented base for exorcism, home protection, and clearing away
all negativity. Ruled by Mars and the archangel Michael.
High John
Power incense, for success, justice, and prevailing
against one's enemies. Excellent for legal matters, power, and defense;
ruled by Mars and Jupiter.
Huntress
Moon incense, for magic, scrying, second sight,
shape-shifting, and astral projection. Sacred to Diana, Artemis, other
lunar Goddesses, amazons, and independent women, as well as the archangel
Gabriel, lunar messenger.
Isis
Narcissus, myrrh, and lavender invoke the Goddess
of priestesses, magic, and childbirth; for women's rites, full Moons, and
high magic. This is one of my very best selling blends.
Kyphi
Ancient Egyptian temple incense, for protection,
meditation, rituals, high magic, and exorcism/purification. Once burned
at sunrise in the temples of the Sun God Ra, it is sacred to him, his son
Horus the Hawk, the Sun, and Mars. This is my very best incense for home
purification and exorcism.
Meditation
Frankincense and fragrant woods make a light incense
for calming, centering, contemplation, and meditation. Ruled by Moon and
Mercury, God of Mind.
Merlin
Another Mercurial incense: a mental blend good
for study, divination, tarot work, rituals for knowledge, ceremonial magic,
and casting the runes.
Middle Pillar
This refers to the cabalistic "middle pillar" of
consciousness, up which one travels when one "rises on the planes." It
corresponds roughly to the spine and the line of chakras positioned along
it. This incense aids in astral travel, pathworkings using the tarot, and
any work that involves altering one's consciousness. Also good for cabalistic
work.
Morrigan
Amber and flowers for the Irish Triple Goddess
of life and death. Good for women's magic, witchcraft, divination, and
enchantments. Resonates with the energy of the element of Water and the
"Lady of the Lake" in Arthurian legends.
Morwyn
Orange blossoms and other flowers invoke the Goddess
of Summer, for inspiration, creativity, fertility, and true love. Promotes
true and faithful love, serious relationships, and marriage; good incense
for weddings.
Mother Goddess
Sandalwood and carnation for blessings of the Great
Mother. Good for fertility, creativity, peace, and protection through pregnancy
and birth. This one is great for overtaxed mothers and to calm the fears
and moods of pregnancy. Sacred also to Venus/Aphrodite.
Mystic Arts
Resins, herbs, and perfumes that vibrate on a higher
plane for more formal rituals, cabalistic ceremonies, and protection. Ruled
by Saturn.
Nut
Sacred to the Egyptian sky and rain Goddess, this
ethereal blend invokes her protection and blessings, also psychic power.
Lily of the valley is the main note in this one.
Offertory
Herbs, woods, and flowers beloved by the Goddess
fill this mixture designed for giving thanks and asking for her blessings
at sabbats and other rituals. Also good for circle-casting. Burn a bit
of this one along with a wish.
Pan
A pine forest, nature spirits, nymphs, erotic games,
and wildness. Mars influence for energy, creativity, initiative, passion,
and courage. Invokes the Horned God as well.
Patchouli
A pure patchouli incense for grounding, stability,
Earth energy, and to protect from unwanted attentions. Can also be an aphrodisiac,
for some. Invokes the angel Uriel, archangel of Earth and the North.
Persephone
Narcissus and other hypnotic plants, for dreams,
psychic power, astral travel, and trance work. Invokes Persephone as Queen
of the Underworld, Saturn, and the Moon, especially its dark aspects.
Psychic Aura
Wisteria, sandalwood, and Moon herbs, for tarot
and other divinations, scrying, astral travel, and dreams. Sacred to the
Moon and the angel Gabriel, archangel of Water, West, and the Moon.
Sabbath Fire
Flowers and herbs traditionally burned in the Midsummer
needfire; for summer sabbats (Beltane through Autumn Equinox), fertility,
love, health, wealth, protection, and good fortune. Sacred to the Sun,
the Faerie Queen, and Mother Goddesses.
Sacred Pipe
Sage, cedar, and other Native American shaman plants,
for protection, peace, nature rituals, and work with power animals and
guardian or helper spirits. Burn it to attract good spirits and positive
energy.
Satyr
Wild essence of deep forest and masculinity. Passionate,
erotic, and energetic, it invokes Mars energy and the Horned God.
Strega
Mix of scrying herbs used by witches past (no gums
or resins in this blend); burn to see in other dimensions and add energy
to spells. Powerful psychic stimulant. A good one for those
who find burning frankincense too heavy.
Trer Dryw
Named for the sacred grove of the archdruid, it
evokes the magic and mood of deep forest and Celtic magic. Ruled by Herne
and Jupiter, for peace, good fortune, wealth, knowledge, and all-purpose
ritual use.
Vesta
A spicy incense that invokes the Goddess of the
Hearthfire and Vestal Virgins; good for rituals involving home, elemental
Fire, pyromancy, purification, and protection. Also for women's mysteries
and power. Resonates with the angel Michael, archangel of Fire and the
South.
Witches' Circle
Rich narcissus, frankincense, and rose, for winter
sabbats (Samhain through Spring Equinox), deep meditation, and astral journeys
into deepest inner space. Sacred to Sun, Moon, and the Great White Triple
Goddess.
