United Jewish Cemeteries

The Mayfield Cemetery
Welcome to the Home Page of the United Jewish Cemeteries. This site is provided as a resource to the Cleveland Jewish Community in general and the families of the Anshe Chesed and Tifereth Israel Congregations in particular.
The United Jewish Cemeteries consist of Willet Street Cemetery, established in 1840 and Mayfield Cemetery, established in 1890. Right of burial in these two facilities is restricted to members of good standing at The Anshe Chesed Congregation - Fairmount Temple and The Temple - Tifereth Israel. Questions regarding membership should be addressed to the Executive Director at the appropriate Temple. Copies of the cemeteries' Rules and Regulations and current Price Lists are made available to members in good standing of the two participating congregations from the Cemetery Office.
