Scrimshaw Art By Mary W. Bailey Welcome to the world of scrimshaw and my artist endeavors with this old American art form.

The overall look of this site has under gone a
drastic change. Within you will now find included my love of dragons,
celtic knots and more. Besides offering a variety of wildlife themes,
I have added subjects from the world of fantasy and imagination. Items
are available in the traditional black and white scrimshaw technique as well
as in full color. This selection includes a line of jewelry pendents,
art display pieces and whenever possible, handmade custom knives available
for purchase.
A Scrimshaw Sites Page has been added. This is a result of meeting other scrimshanders at shows or from finding such sites on the internet. If you know of one I have not included, let me know. If you have a question concerning scrimshaw, please feel free to e-mail me. Just be sure to include the word "scrimshaw" in the subject line so I don't think you are spam mail. Knifemakers: please note that I am available for any scrimshaw projects you may have in mind. At present I am not heavily booked with side work, so give me a shout.
