Our business partner, our bandmate, our friend, Dale Collins left this Earth August 10, 2001 at 8:10 am after a lengthy illness. He is in a better place now. However, Dale often said he felt that he was Mozart in a former life. After spending the last six years with Dale making new music, I am inclined to agree with him. We will see our friend again.
In the meantime, Archer's Meadow will retain the name Dale gave us. We will begin work on our 3rd release. Chessie has many good songs for us to record. We will bring in as many musicians as it takes to get the project done because at this time we cannot see one person taking Dales place. The Meadow will sing again.
