PLOT SYNOPSIS

". . .a musical with a Western setting [that] top-starred Crawford as a big city girl who marries a cowpoke (Johnny Mack Brown), makes him jealous on their wedding night by dancing torridly with Ricardo Cortez, decides to return to New York, but changes her mind when Brown, masquerading as a bandit, pretends to hold up her getaway train and carries her off with him."
- Clive Hirschhorn, The Hollywood Musical

NOTES

". . .MGM hoped for big things from this one. But the public's increasing apathy towards musicals was in no way assuaged by it (inferior sound recording didn't help either) and they stayed away."
- Clive Hirschhorn, The Hollywood Musical

"A long string of nothings with bursts of song; incompetent early talkie."
- Leslie Halliwell, Halliwell's Film Guide
