How do YOU fight?

Your fighter's technique is one of the most important decisions you will make. It determines when and how they will attack their opponent. At character creation you will be asked to choose or create a style for your fighter.

You may choose from the following forms, click on the name for a more detailed descripion, history, and a summary of how the style breaks down into percentages for the game:

Aikido - A Japaneese grappling-oriented form designed to avoid an opponents attack and then throw or incapacitate them, some hand strikes
Boxing - A straightforward western punching form, incorporating strong defense and fakes.
Capoeria - An obscure South American form involving lots of dramatic kicks and sweeps.
Jiu-Jitsu - An oriental form much copied around the world. Grappling-centered, with strong submission techniques and some kicks
Judo - A traditional Japaneese wrestling form. Many throws, with hand strikes and sweeps.
Karate - Japaneese/Okinawan self defense form. This is a powerful striking form used heavily around the world. The form in this game uses many hand strikes as well as kicks and sweeps. Limited grappling as well. Very aggressive.
Kempo - Powerful Okinawan form combining almost all aspects of martial arts. Empahsizes combination strikes, deadly grappling, and devastating pressure point strikes.
Kung Fu - Another incredibly popular striking form, this time from China. Consisting of exotic hand strikes, kicks, and sweeps.
Muay Thai - A very powerful boxing form from Thailand. Follows boxing traditon of defense and fakes combined with punches, kicks, and knee strikes. Grappling is used to open striking opportunities.
Ninjitsu - An ancient Japaneese fighting form. Originally used for assasination. Incorporates hand strikes, limited kicking, effective grappling, pressure points strikes and lethal joint locks. Most grappling is done on your feet, few tackles. Very aggressive.
Professional Wrestling - This is one of the most versatile forms, incorporating hand strikes, strong grappling, kicks, and submissions. Most moves are very exotic and high risk. Dangerous, when it connects.
Sambo - A dramatic wrestling form from Russia. Many throws and submissions combined with effective punching.
Savate - A French kickboxing form, entirely composed of kicks, sweeps, fakes and defense.
Aggressive.
Shootfighting - A lethal modern grappling form. Limited throwing, some hand strikes. Most grapples lead to submission holds. Very defensive.
Sumo - The Japaneese fighting art of using weight to your advantage. Based off Judo, it uses hand strikes, throws, and powerful tackles. Very Aggressive.
Tae Kwon Do - A Korean striking form consisting mostly of deadly straight kicks. Some punching. Good defense. Aggessive
Wrestling -This is contemporary freestyle wrestling. Entirely consisting of grappling with many throws.

You are not locked into your decision, you may change styles at any time, just email me with your new choice. Though not more than once a week.

Your may also use a mix of any two forms listed above as your fighting style.

If none of these suit you, you may create your own style, though i warn you, it takes some work. Create-a-Style
