I've been entirely too busy playing with new 'net toys to do much cooking this week - I also found an old column that got lost in one of the crashes - it seems appropriate Cookery, Crookery.Doc.
One of the projects was checking into guest books. I finally decided to add one after considering the unreliability of aol mail service and a comment about creating a positive frame of mind to encourage visitors to send money. Another good idea was offering a money back guarantee so ok, now you can Order my Book in complete confidence. BTW, there's no extra charge for the plain brown wrapper.

I told you last week I'd gotten my first "I don't love you" e-mails - that's another reason for the guestbook. The following from The Philosophy Service would reflect my feelings:
"I am sitting in the smallest room of my house. I have your review before me. In a moment it will be behind me." (Max Reger - responding to a bad review by Rudolph Louis.)
I've also been working on the Queen C. Certificate of Approval. The first sample arrived to test and passed. When you find an interesting edible freebie let me know - better yet, let the webmaster know ... this could be big.
Something else that kept me busy was contacts made through Houston Webgrrls...Official Chapter of Webgrrls International.
Check into links to your local chapters on the main page. Kristi and the gang here are great about member promos. Now everybody knows about Texas Cookin' - Houston - Date: 06/01/98 (I'm the new TX MS). Check out the links to local Mining Co. sites while you're there too.
The interview was a blast and we did it all by e-mail - for once I didn't have to wonder if one of my other personalities had taken over when I saw the finished article in print - what a concept.
