This is the jump start for a new section. Ya see, I am temporarily without a kitchen - Bubba and I are on the road. Motel for now, probably an RV a little later. In any case the facilities ain't exactly gonna be deluxe much less familiar. I've always said I could cook on a hot rock if necessary, while I doubt it'll come to that ... ya never know. In any case, the Diary will stand on its own while we bump around Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa on Bubba's new job.

I never have been able to sit still for too long, neither has Miss Liberty, M.E. (Mutt Extraordinaire), overseer of the adventure. Her two cents, which often make more sense than mine, will be included here. I do wish she didn't have to get up in the middle of the night as often as I do tho - dang it's cold out there. Like Rhoda said when she moved to Minneapolis, maybe I'll (we'll) keep better.

Any which, at this point, I have no clue what you're liable to find in here or how often I'll update. Bubba's a Fed now, I haven't had a chance to consult with Uncle Sammy about schedule notification etiquette. I will have a cell phone connection sometime in the future tho - good thing too - 'bout killed me waiting to get back on line. In the meantime, if you write and don't get an answer within a week max, try again. I had an initial backlog I couldn't even blame aol for screwing up.

I always appreciate knowing how you found me, the promo game is ever-changing. It really does help to know which ones are working.

I also appreciate any notes about mistakes. Typos are the nature of print, on here at least I can fix them. (Personal best in regular-can't-take-it-back-print: making a cop a pubic safety officer - the guy loved it.) I do have great help with proofing but another set of eyes is most welcome.

Took a look at the Diary the other day, good gawd, the thing is huge - there's no way to keep on top of checking links so if you find a dead one please let me know. A little hint: try again later, especially if it's an aoler. Rebuild nightmares due to aol's crash habits also contributed heavily to the side trip construction decision.
