My musical journey started in the United States of America after I moved to Chicago, Illinois. I first began working professionally with David Byrd and Oversoul , a Chicago based Jazz Reggae band in 1990. My endeavors were rewarded with the release of my first Rap/DJ piece, the remake of "Jamaica Funk" that I did on their Album Chi-Town Reggae . Since that time I have on to be blessed in having more of my dreams to become a reality.

I won the award for "Best New Artist" in the 1995 Martin's Inter-Culture 15th Annual Chicago Reggae Music Awards cerimony. I have performed on shows with Tony Rebel, Judy Mowatt, and Calypso Rose along with a host of other renowned artist at the 16th Annual International Reggae & World Music Awards, where I was also nominated for "Best Reggae Album/CD" and for "Best Song" Awards. I have shared the stage with the Mighty Sparrow, Black Uhuru, Max-A-Million, and Mutabaruka at the 5th Annual African/Carribbean International Festival of Life held in Chicago.

Along with the numerous shows that I have done from nightclubs to festivals in the Chicagoland area I have traveled nationwide on the College Circuits with the OverSoul band, currently have a single on their "Shock Proof" Album entitled "Dance With Me".

I have produced my debut Compact Disk Recording titled, "Jorge From Yard" which has been released on the Jolper Records label and distributed by Tuff Gong International Tuff Gong Intl./The Bob Marley Foundation 220 Marcus Garvey Drive Kingston 11 Jamaica W.I.

I have just released my latest recording, "WISHING"

The songs on this CD, "Jeorge From Yard" reflect some of the experiences that I've had on my journey as I "Come From Yard" and encounter the harsh realities and struggle that go on in a system that can only be described as "Modern Slave Labor" .
