DarrylD's WWII Army Jeep Project Journal - ODD Squad Links

Meet some of my Internet jeep restoration colleagues - The 21st century is a fantastic time to be a jeep history and restoration enthusiast thanks to the wonder of the Internet. Most of us decide we would like a WWII jeep someday and stumble across the G503.com website by accidentally Googling it. A few minutes of reading posts and drilling-down on website listings and you find gentlemen like these friends of mine listed below. Reading their websites inspired me to take on my own jeep restoration project and chronicling it on my own website. Having a network of knowledgeable and helpful guys out there in cyberspace is just the beginning. Soon you start meeting face-to-face at major Military Vehicle Shows ("car shows" to you civilians) and "bond" over your common passion, returning the noble and victorious workhorse of WWII to its original condition. Besides a love for the Ford GPW and Willys MB, a passion for history and authenticity is the common thread each of these "good guys" share. These guys are only the tip of the iceberg, the ones who have websites. Others can be reached through the bulletinboards listed in my other links section.
