Welcome to . . .![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Martial Artists Continuing EducationThank you for your interest in the Martial Arts Continuing Education association, the official association of all fighting systems. Our philosophy at M.A.C.E. is similar to that of a college or university. In such environments, while achieving your goal of a bachelor's degree is a worthwhile endeavor, it is also understood by everyone that the bachelor's is but the first step on the ladder. Some strive for a higher goal - for the master's degree, or perhaps even the doctorate. Such are our goals at M.A.C.E. We strongly believe that, while the study of a martial art, any martial art, is a worthwhile pursuit, and achieving your black belt is a fine goal, there should be the same sense of looking beyond that first goal, or climbing the ladder, if you would, that we have with a college degree. For many of us, the study of the martial arts is not simply a hobby or a business. Nor is it simply a course of study with a set goal in sight. It is a way of looking at life and dealing with the problems with which we are confronted. And what of the eternal debates within the martial arts community? Hard styles vs. soft, combat oriented styles vs. art styles, grappling vs. P/K. Our philosophy at M.A.C.E is that all styles have advantages and disadvantages. No one style will serve in every situation, but a well rounded martial artist, one who has trained in multiple styles, will hopefully be prepared for any eventuality. If you have earned your black belt in Shotokan, why not expand your horizon to include Jujitsu? Perhaps you have your black in Judo and are interested in a weapons style. So why not study Kali? If your training has been in a hard style, look into the possibility of training in a soft. Sound good? Then M.A.C.E. may be just what you're looking for. What's more, you may be just what M.A.C.E. is looking for! Membership is only $45 (US currency) per year and includes
