Sketch of M4 at 232x, 22' FOV in the 16"
(Made at TSP 1999)
Greetings! This little backwater of the web is brought to you by Kurt Maurer, member of the Johnson Space Center Astronomical Society near Houston, Texas. I have created these pages to show off a few of the telescopes and related accessories I have built over the years. There isn't much in-depth discussion of these projects since there's no real innovation; just what I think are improvements made to ideas gleaned from magazines, web pages and other ATMs in the field. The philosophy is that a picture is worth a thousand words. If you'd like more information on anything you see here, please feel free to drop a line!
