"Hospiscare of Exeter"making the most of life
The has been chosen as the name for the boat as we have linked with a very deserving and local charity Hospiscare.
1997 is the 5th anniversity of the Building of a Hospice in Exeter and we are working with them to promote and educate the local community as to the work of the Hospice.
The parallels between our trip and that of the Hospice patients are quite clear.
They need Courage ....... So do we
They need Strength ....... So do we
They are making the most of their lives ........So are we.
The Hospice is constantly treating patints both in the community and at the Hospice as well as providing councilling and support for the families concerned .This all costs a great deal of money we hoped that by entering the race and raising the profile of the Hospice we can help to raise some more money to allow them to continue their excellent work.
