A love so deep,
A pain so hard.
Why do we have to go through this?
So many questions,
So little answers.
Why were we chosen to go through this?
Are we supposed to be strong?
Did I do something wrong?
I feel like I failed you somehow.
Am I losing my mind?
God, please tell me WHY,
You took her away from us now?
Can't stand the pain.
Don't want to cry.
Why do we have to go through this?
The pain always comes,
With pain comes the tears.
Why were we chosen to go through this?
Don't tell us, "carry on,"
or "you'll be fine before long."
The pain doesn't just stop like that!
The memories though warm,
are all we have to fill our arms.
Home is where we want her at!
A casket so tiny.
The time too soon.
Why do we have to go through this?
Not supposed to happen.
It is so unfair.
Why were we chosen to go through this?
Nobody, at all should,
whether bad or good
have to go through this terror.
I wish there weren't any
but know there's been many.
With them, our angels we share.
