"Roommate Hunting in San Francisco"
is an early piece in the series. In this installation my friend
Jim stands happily in one apartment. Next door, the plastic people
are interviewing Batman. The one thing they have in common is
that they are all made of plastic. The woman seems okay with
the idea, but the man appears to be backed into the wall. Batman
is, after all, a rather tall and imposing figure.

- Winter 2002 How it all began. A long story with the first pictures
of the development of the project.
- Winter 2002, cont. "A Dog's Dream" is at the bottom
of this page.
- Room installations and wall murals.
- Winter 2003 - There weren't too many developments
this winter. I spent a lot of time in the park working on pastels
in the winter light. I am, however, working on a new piece with
Madeline, Batman, The Hawkman, a miniature Barbie and a midget
Ninja. They're cooking up a diamond heist in Madeline's kitchen.
I have all of the parts but have to create the actual walls and
flooring of the kitchen. I also have a surrealistic beach scene
that needs to be documented. Stay tuned. I would expect by August
to have gotten something up for your enjoyment. Oh, yes, and
Hope and Rosie are going to be joining in on the fun soon too.
Rosie has a large collection of Barbie paraphanalia and we will
see what we can do with that.
- Winter 2004 - Slowly. An interesting development with taking
down the walls of the room and beginning to think of expanding
possibilities.
- Portrait Dioramas: Madelines's response.
