Spoiler Dish With Rant N Raven
Ravenbeauty's Weekly Dish

Hey Gang,

Ravenbeauty is taking a well deserved break, so below is a collection of upcoming OLTL previews, courtesy of friends who have collected spoilers across the internet.  Thank you all for your help ~ Soaps Gal

The show begins to celebrate its 40th anniversary on July 21. Back in the 80's, Viki was knocked unconscious and ended up on a space ship bound for heaven. While there, Viki had conversations with many of the 'dearly departed.' This time, Viki will end up on an elevator moving up in a high rise apartment building. Once Viki makes it to heaven, she will meet former husband Ben Davidson -- and Dorian's former husband, Mel Hayes.

Also on board will be
Erin Torpey.  Torpey originated the role of Jessica Buchanan but left the show to pursue other interests. Torpey will appear as Viki's granddaughter, Megan - the baby of Jessica and William Rappaport. Baby Megan died shortly after she was born. Jessica Tuck had originally been tapped to appear as Viki's daughter, Megan, who passed away following a bout with Lupus. However, Tuck was side-tracked by other commitments and bowed out at the last moment. Agnes Nixon - who created One Life to Live - will also put in an appearance. Andrea Evans will be used to help re-create the famous scene where Tina survived a plunge over a waterfall in Argentina. Thom Christopher - as Carlo Hesser, will force Tina to watch in horror was Carlo sends Tina's daughter, Sarah, over a waterfall. Fan favorite John Loprieno will return as Tina's ex-husband, Cord. Also being revisited will be a popular time-traveling story. Back in the 80's, Clint (then played by Clint Richie), was knocked on the head and ended up back in the Wild West - where he met an ancestor of Viki's - but did NOT marry her!

This time around, Bo and Rex will be hit by lightning and will wake up in 1968 - the same year that One Life to Live went on the air. This time around, Bo will stand in as Asa - and Rex will be 'young Bo.' The time traveling story will last for several weeks. IF Rex and Bo can NOT find their way back to the future in time, Rex (as Young Bo) will be drafted and sent to
Vietnam! Spencer Truman will be played as an underhanded little kid by Austin Williams (who currently appears as Shane).

David will NOT be born at that time - so the story will be about maybe preventing David's birth. Also reportedly making appearances will be
Phil Carey (Asa), Mark Derwin (Ben Davidson), and Stephen Markle (Dorian's deceased husband, journalist Mel Hayes).

ABC HOTSHEET

Viki Goes To Heaven (Again)! Rex And Bo Go To 1968!
Todd Tells Marty About The Rape! One Life to Live celebrates it's 40th
anniversary with two special episodes. On July 21 and 22, celebrate the past when Viki goes to Heaven and sees some old friends (including Ben and the original Jessica, Erin Torpey), Bo and Rex travel back to 1968, Tina has déjà vu with a waterfall and Dorian sees her ex, Mel. Meanwhile, Todd and the amnesiac Marty grow closer, and he tells her about her college gang rape. But does he mention he did it? Plus: Blair and John take their friendship to an entirely new level. You know what we mean.

SOW

Bo and Rex: Back from the Future

Bo and Rex are charged with repairing history when they are struck by lightning this week and wake up in 1968.

"They realize they are not in
Kansas anymore," laughs HW Ron Carlivati, who explains that while Bo is now Asa and Rex is Bo, there's a deeper story at work. "It becomes a love story for Gigi and Rex to find each other across time, and it's a chance for Bo to put his father's ghost to rest."

Bo and
Rex land right in the middle of an argument between Asa and Emma, Spencer and David's mother. "She's says, 'You can't get away with this. You can't treat people like this.' It's a way for Bo to see how ruthless Asa could be," Carlivati teases. "Bo and Rex realize that Asa hasn't seen her in a while and she's not pregnant yet. They know that if Bo as Asa doesn't sleep with her and get her pregnant, then David Vickers won't born."

But does perpetual pain in the rear David really have to be born? "If they change history too much, they may not be able to get back to 2008," warns Carlivati.

Let's do the time warp:

Instead of hiring a whole bunch of new recurring players, OLTL is sending several familiar faces back in time to play some favorite characters. "The audience is pretty smart," notes Ron Carlivati. "It's all in fun, so I hope everyone will take the trip with us."

In addition to Bo (Robert S Woods) and Rex (John-Paul Laviosier) playing Asa and Bo, respectfully, watch as the following actors adopt new personas:

John Brotherton (Jared) and Melissa Archer (Natalie) do double duty as Clint and his sweetheart (Cord's mother, Maria.)

Farah Fath (Gigi) will be Emma Bradley (Spencer and David's mother.)

Austin Williams (Shane) will portray Spencer as a little kid.

Catherine Hickland (Lindsay) plays
Olympia , (Clint and Bo's mother).

Loyita Chapal (Dallas) is Renee, the town madame and later Asa's wife.

John Rue (Moe) and January Lavoy (Noelle) portray Jeremiah and Rosa.

Lea DeLaria (Delphina) plays Del Phina, a professor.

Peter Barlett (Nigel) plays Chuck Senior.

Sneak Peeks:

Blair and John grow closer.

Starr shoots a video for her baby.

Dorian is reprimanded by two men from her past.

Clint cuts a deal with David.

Brody makes a promise to Gigi.

Friday, July 25: Todd tells Marty about her rape.

Week Of July 28:
Antonio's life is threatened; Cole blasts Starr; Todd finds out what Blair has been up to.

SOD - BACK IN TIME

While Dorian works to save Viki's life and Tina watches Sarah go over the falls in Mendorra, the third arc of OLTL's special 40th anniversary episodes ---- Bo and Rex's time travel---is just beginning

As a drunken Bo envisions Asa daring him to jump a fence at the ranch, Bo rides into a storm and is followed by Rex. "They wake up in the rain and don't have a clue what's going on" says John-Paul Lavoisier. "The last thing they remember they were struck by lightning. The Buchanan ranch hands end up coming to find them because they passed out in the mud and keep calling Rex 'Bo' and Bo 'Asa'" But after checking out an old television set(which ironically, is running the 1968 credits from ONE LIFE TO LIVE or "some old show" as Rex calls it) and seeing a newspaper dated 1968, they start to wise up. "One by one, people start showing up in their lives, people who they recognize as somebody else from 2008, but they're actually people from 1968" explains Lavoisier. "They end up going to the diner, the Bonjour Cafe and it's the Good Day Cafe and everybody's hippied out. Rex and Bo are just freaking out trying to piece everything together"

There, Bo/Asa has an onscreen encounter with Renee that's made even more confusing by the fact that Woods' wife, Loyita is playing Renee in the past, and Clint's ex-girlfriend, Dallas, in the present. "She just walks right up and smacks 'Asa' in the face. The family'll get a kick out of that" chuckles Woods. As it turns out, Asa is not only married to
Olympia (played by Catherine Hickland) and sleeping with Renee, he's also wronged one of her call girls, Emma. "Farah is playing Emma, Spencer Truman's mother," says Woods. "Austin(Williams, Shane) is playing Spencer and he's just a mean little guy. He spits in Rex's drink when he's not looking, runs through with squirt guns and tries to rifle through all the jukeboxes to get money. And Emma's running around going 'Spencer'"

"Bo," meanwhile, is expected to ship out to
Vietnam , while Rex just wants to reunite with Gigi. "Rex is trying to get to her somehow because he really misses her and has deep feelings for her," says Lavoisier (Look for a warped cell phone and a psychic to play into that reunion) "I think the cool thing is it's poignant in places, but it's really fun," adds Woods"

"One Life to Live" kicks off their 40th anniversary celebration by revisiting three classic storylines. Bo and Rex awaken to find themselves transported to the year 1968 after being struck by lightning. Struggling to make sense of the events unfolding around them, Rex and Bo work to understand what has happened to them.

The Inside Story: History Repeats Itself
In Mendorra, Carlo places his dastardly plan in motion. Tina is forced to watch in horror as Carlo sends Sarah sailing toward a deadly waterfall. Fortunately, Cristian is able to overtake the guards in an attempt to rescue Sarah. He manages to swim to her raft in time for he and Sarah to proclaim their love, before plunging to their doom.

A Closer Look: Viki Comes Face-to-Face with God Agnes Nixon and Erika Slezak courtesy Heidi Gutman/ABC

Upon dying in a car crash, Viki is transported to heaven by her Guardian Angel, an adult version of her stillborn granddaughter Megan. While in heaven, Viki is reunited with a number of familiar faces including Niki Smith, Asa, and her beloved Ben. Meanwhile, back on Earth, the late Mel Hayes pays Dorian a visit from beyond the grave. Mel belittles Dorian for what she did to Charlie, and warns her to quit living in Viki's shadow. Back in heaven, Viki is greeted by God, who looks strangely like "OLTL" creator Agnes Nixon. Later, Viki shares an emotional reunion with Ben, who informs Viki that she still has life left to live, and urges her to give Charlie a second chance. Although heartbroken at the realization that she will have to leave Ben once more, Viki decides to return to her life. Meanwhile, Mel urges Dorian to save Viki's life. At the same time, David wonders by and promises to divorce Addie if Dorian will save Viki. Dorian, meanwhile, is successful in her attempts to resuscitate Viki. After being taken to the hospital, Michael informs Dorian and David that it appears Viki will make a full recovery. Fearing he may go back on his word, Dorian forces David to sign annulment papers. Dorian wrestles with a guilty conscience, and later makes a confession to Viki. Afterward, the two long-time rivals form a truce.

What to Watch

John talks to Marcie about her decision to adopt Starr's baby and the impact it's having on Michael.
Clint decides to offer David $10 million to divorce Addie, as part of his plan to return BE to Buchanan control.
Markko has his concerns about a Cole/Todd partnership.
Starr is short with Langston when she encourages her to talk to Cole.
Clint presents David with a tempting offer.
Brody wants to be a better man for Gigi and Shane's sakes.
Todd reluctantly informs Marty about being raped the night of the Spring Fling, while carefully leaving out his role in the attack.
Blair tells John that she's tired of being Todd's doormat.
John and Blair are drawn into a kiss.
David quickly works to save his assets.

OK guys that's it for this week. Hope you have a truly fabulous weekend!

OLTL Summer Previews

One Life Celebrates No. 40 with Blasts from the Past
Courtesy of TVguide.com
Long before Passions came along, One Life to Live was daytime's wildest soap — especially back in the Reagan era, when Viki (
Erika Slezak) had an out-of-body experience during brain surgery and wound up on a space ship to heaven. To celebrate the ABC soap's 40th anniversary next month, OLTL head writer Ron Carlivati will revisit that celestial 1987 plot by having Viki die — just momentarily, of course! — in a car crash.

"This time, heaven will be a very modern high-rise — Viki will go up the elevator floor by floor, encountering all sorts of dead characters along the way," said Carlivati. Among the former stars making angelic returns are Phil Carey (Asa), Mark Derwin (Ben), Stephen Markle (Mel) and Jessica Tuck (Megan). OLTL's legendary creator, Agnes Nixon, will also appear in heaven.

That's not all. Carlivati will redo the famous '80s plot where Tina (Andrea Evans) survived a plunge over the Iguazú Falls in Argentina, only this time, creepy Carlo (Thom Christopher) will force Tina to watch in horror as he sends her daughter Sarah (Justis Bolding) over a waterfall in Mendorra. Fan favorite John Loprieno will return as Tina's ex-hubby, Cord.

And remember the time Clint (Clint Ritchie) was knocked unconscious and time-traveled to the Wild West? Carlivati will riff on that plot, too. "Bo (Robert S. Woods) and Rex (John-Paul Lavoisier) are hit by lightning and wake up in 1968 — the same year OLTL hit the air," Carlivati says. The kicker: Bo has become his pop, Asa, and Rex has become the young Bo.

All three homages air July 21–22, but the Bo-Rex twist will play out for several weeks, maybe with dire consequences. Says Carlivati: "If they can't find their way back to the future, Rex will be drafted and sent to Vietnam." — Michael Logan

SOW/SID

There's a return to fun, drama and humor, some of the stuff that is the signature of OLTL that has been lacking -- and you're going to see a lot of it!

There will be 2 deaths, 2 pregnancies, 1 marriage proposal, and several big returns - Tina, Marty, Carlo and one or two others, teases OLTL Headwriter Ron Carlivati.

The return of David:
What everyone wants to know is, is David going to get onto who he really is, a Buchanan?  David is going to stumble on something huge. We’re not just treading water, we're taking a big step forward.  Tuc Watkins (David) is not going anywhere.

Script Releases by Ravenbeauty

06/14/08 - Script for Leo

As you know, last week I put out an audition script that ABC had just released for the role of Leo. Well they issued a revision here today and it definitely provides you with a lot more information. As you know, they have stopped using the real names in these because of "spoiler Abuse" (ahem) and have now started to use names we know even though the lines are meant for someone else. If your heads are spinning good...welcome to my world! In some cases it will be the real names, but they want to throw us off and keep us in Dramamine.

If you will recall from last week Leo is shown in a scene with Blair. Blair says that she has a big surprise for her family and Leo chimes in that he will be totally discreet. That he's had clients like her before...lonely widows...top secret missions.... stuff like that. Blair rolls her eyes as he continues on to say that his reputation must have proceeded him from all the rich, bored ladies of Llanview. Blair gets in his face and says that obviously he is unaware of her reputation and stares Leo down. Suddenly Leo shouts out and Blair asks him how his hand is and tells him he will live.

Leo says that Blair is one tough cookie and she says yeah well I'm pregnant. He looks at her and asks "so you're married". Blair shoots him a look and says not anymore. Blair goes on to say that her husband was murdered and that he must have read about it in the papers. Leo says Oh my God you're Blair Cramer...of course..I'm so sorry. She says that's why she decided to start this construction project. To lay low and keep busy. Leo says that he completely understands. Blair says that it will be a labor of love in honor of her dead husband. Scene ends there.

06/14/08 - Script for Elana

This for the role of Elana but it's basically the same script for Liza/Sasha issued a few weeks back. Now they are referring to her as Elana and have shortened the original version. This is an old scene that involved Britney and they are now using it to cast for Elana (again keep in mind that they are no longer using real names in an effort to throw us off AND they also sometimes use names we know saying lines meant for other characters to throw us off). This could either be a straight up Britney recast or they are casting for someone who has those qualities (which is usually why they would consider using a recycled script that has already aired). Either way, here it is again:

The scene opens in a classroom with Sara dropping her things down and digging into her bag for her cell phone. She hears a door slam and sees Elana coming towards her. Sara asks her why she shut the door. Elana says that the room will be empty all day. That Murphy is sick and they couldn't find a substitute so there's plenty of time for her and Sara to have a nice little chat. Sara says that she doesn't have time to talk to her and needs to make a phone call.

Elana tells her to make the call another time. That they need to talk now. Sara asks her what they could possibly have to talk about. Sara goes on to say that she is no longer with Nick and it's obvious that Elana is all into Garrett so what gives? Elana says that yeah they hook up every now and than, leading Sara to tell Elana to spare her the gory details.

Elana smiles and says that this is what friends do. They share all their dirty secrets. Sara looks repulsed and says "Excuse me, did you just call us friends?" Elana says "that's why I'm here, can we call a truce" and extends her hand to Sara. Sara tells Elana to stop following her around and tries to leave, but Elana blocks her way and says "not till you agree to a truce." Sara says that she's had a front row seat to what Eliza does to her friends and the scene ends there.

06/14/08 - Script for Omar

The scene opens in a prison visiting room. John is alone in a Colombian prison room with nothing but a table. The door opens and a rough looking prisoner is escorted into the room. John addresses the prisoner as Mr. Calixto. Omar looks at John and asks him who the hell he is. John says "the man that can get you out of here." Omar looks annoyed and tells John that he's not interested in lawyers looking for lost causes and that he has nothing to offer anyone. John tells him that it's not what he has to offer, but who he knows.

John puts down a picture on the table in front of Omar. Omar says "who's that?" John tells him that it's Marty Saybrooke. Omar rolls his eyes and says "and this matters to me why?" John says that Marty is his niece and that she was his sister Margaret's child. Omar asks John if Margaret sent him. John shakes his head and says that Margaret is dead. Omar says he doesn't really care and can't see how that would buy his freedom. John leans in and says that he will buy Omar a way out of there if he will come back to the states and claim Marty as his niece.

Omar rolls his eyes and snickers "than what...do we set up housekeeping and get a reality show?" John says he doesn't care what he does after that...just as long as he makes the claim. John says that he wants the man who is taking care of Marty to realize he could lose her. John looks at Omar and says "look man...I can get you a get out of jail free card or you can rot in here forever." Omar smiles and asks John what his terms are...that he could use some money. Scene ends there.

5/3/08 - A few new audition scripts were released this week by ABC. I guess they have decided that because of what they term "spoiler abuse", we will now be getting scripts with not only fake names to throw us off, but real names we know doing things not intended for that character. So you will see names like Jessica, Viki, Cole or whoever doing things intended for another character. If you think your head is spinning, try living in my world!

The script summaries are as follows:

Script to cast for the role of Julianna for OLTL

The scene opens with Adrianna admonishing Michael. She tells him that her company is doing just fine, but what she really needs is a boyfriend who acts like a real boyfriend. Julianna looks up and says "whose boyfriend" with Lori saying "excuse me?" Julianna gets in Adrianna's face and says "I thought I just heard you calling Michael here your boyfriend." Adrianna says "that's because he is my boyfriend." Julianna looks at Michael and says that she doesn't know how that can be when Michael is her boyfriend.

Julianna tells Michael to tell Adrianna what time it is. Michael looks around and realizes he has a serious problem and says that he can explain. Julianna gets up and starts telling Michael off. She calls him a two timing bastard. Adrianna looks at Michael and says "please tell me this is some stalker that you don't know so we can call the police." Julianna says that's fine with her. That maybe they need to subpoena the phone records showing all the calls he made to her. Michael looks at Adrianna and asks her if they can go somewhere private so he can explain things. Adrianna says "Don't give me that crap...I was just in
Baltimore visiting my sister."

Michael says that he knows all too well how busy she's been running around all over the map with Jess and her mother (Adrianna sounds like Layla who was jetting around with Dorian and the REAL Adriana...got all that...good). That he wishes she would tell him what all that was even about. Julianna chimes in and says "so I was just some kind of stand in is that it?" Adrianna looks up and says "I was the one who was cheated on so back the hell off and get out of here." Scene ends.

Script to cast for the role of a mechanic/day player for OLTL

The scene opens with Rachel answering the door. The mechanic introduces himself as Tony from DeVito's garage. He apologizes for the late hour but says that it's very important that he speak to Mrs. Walsh. Rachel asks if it's really that important because Mrs. Walsh left town. He says that it's about her accident. That he knows who caused it. Rachel asks him what he found out about the car. He says that if Mrs. Walsh is unavailable, that maybe he could just talk to Marty since the car was registered in her name.

Rachel says that she's Marty's sister. That the last few days have been incredibly stressful because they almost lost their mother. She goes on to say that Marty is finally getting some rest as she blames herself for the accident. The mechanic says that Marty was not responsible. That someone was trying to kill Marty. That he found the brake lines had been cut. The killer probably didn't count on their mother using the car on the spur of the moment instead of Marty. He says he is going to go to the police. Rachel stops him and tells him that he doesn't need to involve the police. The guy looks at Rachel strangely and asks her why she wouldn't want the police to know. Scene ends.

5/3/08 - Casting for Judge Runyon-OLTL

As usual they have changed the names in a vain attempt to throw us off (ahem).

The scene opens with Michael (John) approaching a man who is seated and eating at a diner and says "Hello Judge Runyon". The man acknowledges Michael and says simply "detective". Michael asks if the Chicken Adobo is good today. Runyon says that it's always good which is why he eats there every day. Runyon is obviously annoyed and asks Michael if he's been following him. Michael says "The DA's office tells me that you haven't ruled on my request." Runyon smugly tells Michael that if he has a legal problem, to set up an appointment. Michael says "yeah well I've tried that, but your assistant keeps blowing me off". Runyon says "well than... you have your answer" (Runyon proceeds to finish his meal).

Michael is now visibly angry and says "I need that search warrant judge and I need it today." Runyon rolls his eyes and tells Michael that the FBI has not turned up any evidence that Mullin (Ramsey) had a woman in his home. Michael says yeah well they weren't looking very hard....what about the X-ray's I found"? Runyon tells Michael that it proves nothing. Michael leans in and says "I heard her voice".

Runyon looks at John (obviously exasperated) and tells him that he's got nothing. Scene ends.

04/12/08 - Script for the role of Keys

The scene opens with the sound of sirens in the background and Keys having Steve pinned down so he can't get away. Steve yells for Keys to get the hell off him. Keys looks at Mr. Jones as the sirens get closer and says "hey Mr Jones....we should probably go now." Lisa looks exasperated at Mr. Jones (Todd of course) and says "even your bodyguard is smart enough to know when it's time to leave Doug!" Keys asks Mr. Jones if he wants him to take this guy out now. Doug says (Doug Jones...what a crack up) no....not just yet. Keys looks at Doug and warns that the cops are getting closer. That they better get the hell out of there now. Keys lets Steve go but tells him that this is not the last time he will see him. Scene ends.

03/23/08 - Script for Ambassador Jonas Chamberlain

The scene opens with Jonas studying something on his computer when Ian walks through the door. Jonas tells Ian that he's waiting for an update on the Drake Henry situation. Ian says... gee thank you father and how are you today? Jonas is not amused and barely looks up from his computer. Ian tells Jonas that yes.... he did convey to Mr Henry that Chamberlain Enterprises was not interested in acquiring his little radio station. Jonas smiles and says.....excellent you've put us in an perfect bargaining position. Ian is taken aback and says sarcastically....wow was that a compliment? Jonas tells Ian that he has given him many a compliment over the years. Maybe too many which is why he thought he could ride roughshod over the company and take risks that cost them money.

The script goes on and on with Jonas reminding a spoiled Ian of the time he wrapped his black Ferrari around a tree. The time he lost the company millions over a deal gone sour. They go back and forth with more of this father son angst. Jonas reminds Ian that his mother is no longer around to protect him any more. He tells him that he had better do his job. That son or no son he will be out otherwise.
