Mission Statement
Don O'Neill's mission statement is to obtain the deepest possible understanding of software engineering in all its dimensions, to arrive at a realistic expectation for its application at every level, and to communicate this knowledge and expectation to both producers and consumers.
These dimensions include global competitiveness, strategic software management, business strategies, human resources, process track, management track, engineering track, sustaining operations, and application domains.These levels of application include the nation, enterprise, project, and individual.
As an independent consultant, Don O'Neill conducts defined programs for managing strategic software improvement. These include implementing an organizational Software Inspections Process, directing the National Software Quality Experiment, implementing Software Risk Management on the project, conducting the Project Suite Key Process Area Defined Program, and conducting Global Software Competitiveness Assessments. Each of these programs includes the necessary practitioner and management training.
