When Y2K Hit SGC

As 2000 approached, the base was abuzz with talk of Y2K. Teal'c started to ask questions and heared all the rumors of all the thing that 'could' happen and decided it's time to go visit his son and wife in the Land of Light.

The crew goes to fire up the Stargate and suddenly, all the chevrons go wonky, power macs that run them locked up and they dialed up Chulak. A message pops up on the screen from Bill Gates. For not using Windows on the Stargate system, he has taken over the computers with the Y2K bug. It is of Gou'ald design. Bill Gates is really Ra in disguised. He used the Antarctica Stargate to escape the ship before it blew up at the last minute and found Gates the perfect host. The power..the absolute power!!!!!

Meanwhile, Teal'c ducked back out of the embarkation room and went to get his staff weapon. He got to the armory, but all those key card locks had konked out. After a few attempt he managed to get the door open. By this time O'Neill, Carter, and Jackson were there. They grabbed some zat guns and headed back to the embarkation room.

They get about as far as door outside the embarkation room when suddenly the hallway was filled with Horis guard and a woman steps out. HATHOR!

"My beloved, we have returned for you!" she said in that eerie Gou'ald voice.

"NO!" Jackson screamed and raised his zat gun, but in his panic he had it pointed the wrong way.

*ZAT*

"Oh, for crying out loud!" O'Neill groaned and grabed Jackson and they retreat.

They made it into the command room and lock the door. Carter tried to reboot the computers, but it didn't work. Finally, she found one that used Windows, and amazing enough it worked. She started to try to find a way to force Hathor back to the Stargate or at least warn someone.

"Carter, you have anything there?" O'Neill demanded impatiently.

"Oh, no."

"What?"

"Well, I got the President, but I don't thing we can get Senate approval to do anything. Kinsy has already pulled the plug on the program."

"What?"

"According to this, SGC owes 90 years back taxes."

"Guess, bake sales won't cover it."

"No sir."

Suddenly, there was a pounding on the door. "Beloved, don't run away!"

*uhho*
