The Grand Puzzle - Part V

THE SECRET CENTER
OF HADIT

This equation is a mathematical riddle, encrypted with an instruction for its solution. Having already established the number 24 as the Measure of verification, any relationship between the bracketed numbers 24 and 89 may prove to hold a Key to understanding this section of the Grand Puzzle.

The following Hebrew Words and their values by Gematria fit this requirement perfectly: HDPh or Hadeph, to Cast Out; LTIM or L'tim, Illusions; ChPhA or Chepha, the Veil; GVPh or Guph; the Physical Body; YHDY or Yehdi, to See and Know, all add to 89 - while GVYH or Gevyeh, a Body or Corpse; KAD or Ked, an earthenware Container or Receptacle; DAK or Dek, to be crushed and broken, or to be purified or cleansed of sin. All add to 24. These Qabalistic metaphors speak volumes concerning certain esoteric doctrines of Initiation, which can only take place when the aspirant relinquishes all attachments to the physical in order to attain to the Divine. As such, the numbers 24 and 89 can be seen to signify Initiation in the Qabalah. This is verified further by the Tarot Atu Death, which represents the 24th Path on the Tree of Life. Hadit echoes these ideas in II:6, where He tells us that He is the giver of Life, but in Knowing Him, one would also Know Death.

The y and the x might also be meditated upon reverently in light of the research of modern geneticists, who have discovered that the male and female chromosomes are shaped and therefore labled as such - y being male and x being female. These hold the codes to physical heredity, and serve as an unbroken link with our ancestors through the physical body. In our Sacred Cipher A = 0, X and Y are valued at 23 and 24. Their Union as 23 + 24 = 47, the value of ALTAR and FLESH. It is curious that the individual sperm and egg possess 23 (the value of GOD in A = 0) chromosomes, their Union producing 46, the value of the Word of Magickal Union - ABRAHADBRA!

The other Key to this equation may be seen to lie in the number of the Trinity, 3, which has played such an important role in our Ciphering so far. Now, the first Names/Word of the Three Chapters of Liber AL vel Legis, I:1, II:1, and III:1 are HAD! NU! ABRAHADABRA!, together adding to 89 in our NOX Cipher. The ratio of the Three Chapters could be written as 1:2:3, and their first passages as 1:1:1, indicative of the Trinity of Liber Legis and serial order of the number 3. The Pythagorean extension of the number 3, 1 + 2 + 3 = 6 also emphasizes a serial order (and the number 6, as we shall soon see). The Thelemic relationship between the number 3 and the number 89 is thereby revealed by the Sacred Cipher.

If we then look at the threefold serial order in relation to the y and x of the equation, we may find that they serve as algebraic variables signifying a threefold serial order. If we use the bracketed numbers as significators, we may then postulate that y = a serial order of 22, 23, and 24, while x = a serial order of 87, 88, and 89. When we add these numbers, the sums are y = 69 (recall its significance from the Part III, the Masonic Square) and x = 264, which is the value of the Hebrew Word SDR or Seder, to arrange or set in a row. Amazingly, 69 + 264 = 333, a significant Qabalistic number, and the value of 37 (HADIT and Yechidah - Unity) multiplied by 6, the extension of the ubiquitous number 3.

We may now invert the sequence of our sets of serial numbers for y and x (since y is switched with x in the puzzle) and add them to get these wonderful equations: 24 + 87 = 111; 23 + 88 = 111; 22 + 89 = 111. Therefore, this section of the Grand Puzzle switches the order of the traditional English Alphabet from x - y to y - x! Since we are exhorted by Hadit in II:14:54 not to change the letters in style or value, both the order and value of y is revealed as 24, verified by the number 24 appearing twice in the Grand Puzzle! Did anyone notice this critical switch on the Aeonic:. Annunciation:. Home Page? This is why we were exhorted to obtain the order & value for the English Alphabet, a subtle yet important change which will be seen to have great merit in the New Symbols Section of our Qabalistic and Thelemic Proofs.

Now, 111 + 111 + 111 = 333, which reduces to 9, and 333 is the value of the Hebrew AIQ BKR, the mysterious Qabalah of Nine Chambers, which turned out to be the solution to the final conundrum of AL "Paste the sheets...". The number 9 is also found placed in the Center of this quite revealing equation, in which we square these three groups of 111, "set in a row":

The Grand Total of this equation deserves meditation, for in revealing our Qabalistic numbers forward and backward it describes not only the Running and Returning upon the Way of the Tree of Life, but also may be associated Qabalistically with the Hindu's Great Breath of Akasha or Spirit and Its Grand Cycles of Manvantara and Pralaya, the Activity and Rest of the Maha Kalpa or Great Cycle. It can also be seen to represent Qabalistically the simultaneous Creation and Destruction of the Universe as the Big Bang and the Big Crunch of our modern physicist's Oscillating Universe, as it were.

In Light of this concept, the number places of this Grand Total reveal yet more significant numbers, as shown in this Numerological graph:

6 + 7 + 8 = 21 = 2 + 1 = 3
thus 3:3:3, which may be seen as representing the Running upon the Way of the Tree of Life; and
9 + 8 + 7 = 24 = 2 + 4 = 6
6 + 5 + 4 = 15 = 1 + 5 = 6
3 + 2 + 1 = 6
thus, 6:6:6, which may be viewed as the Qabalistic representation of Returning upon the Way of the Tree of Life.


The appearance in our equation of the "Number of the Beast" and "the Number of a Man", 666, from John's Revelation, is of the utmost importance to this Cipher of the Grand Puzzle and the Magick of Thelema, for "the prophet" Aleister Crowley is refered to as "the beast" repeatedly throughout the text of Liber AL vel Legis. In fact, Crowley subsequently took as his Magickal Name the Greek motto To Mega Therion, meaning The Great Wild Beast, in light of its Isopsephic value of 666. When Therion, or Beast, is transliterated into Hebrew as ThRIUN, its value in Gematria is also 666. Although the prophet Crowley is referred to as "the beast" in Liber Legis, the number 666 is not; however, Nuit states in I:12:48 that Her "prophet is a fool with his one, one, one."(Again, ONE ONE ONE = 93 in our NOX Cipher.) This statement links the prophet with Hadit (HADIT = 37) as the number 37 x 3 = 111, 37 being the root and radical of all the tripartite numbers, 666 included. The appellation of "the beast" merely completes the association with the enigmatic number 666.

Rather than being a Satanic Number, as is promulgated by so-called Christian doom-sayers, this Number 666 is actually a Qabalistic representation of the 6th Sephira Tiphareth, Harmony and Beauty, which is the Center of the Tree of Life in its manifestation of the Trinity, 111. Also note that 666 indicates the center of the 6th Chamber of the Qabalistic AIQ BKR, valued at 333 by Gematria. Now, the Astrological attribution of Tiphareth is the Sphere of the Sun, as well as the physical manifestation of the Child or Son. Correspondingly, the ancient Chaldean Astrologer's Magickal Square of the Sun consists of 6 x 6 = 36 squares numbered 1 through 36, the number 36 extending numerologically to 666. This Magickal Square is constructed as follows:

This Magickal Square reveals the Key Numbers of the Triple Qabalistic permutations of Hadit as the Number of Unity or Yechidah, 37; for all of the opposite pairs of numbers add to 37, while the sum of any line of numbers add to 111. More importantly, the Sum Total of all its numbers, 1 through 36, add to 666!

One might also note that the numbers of the four corners are 1 and 31 (three ones or 111), 6 and 36 (three sixes or 666). John's attribution of the Number 666 to the Beast will appear most appropriate to Astrologers, who Know that the Sun rules the King of Beasts, Leo the Lion.

The Hebrew Word ALH or Eloah, which means God or Deity, adds to 36, and ELOAH adds to 36 in our Sacred Cipher A = 0! Also, the Hebrew Word VL or Vel, the Child, adds to 36 as well. Many biblical scholars believe that this Word Eloah is the singular tense of the plural Word Elohim, the Creator Gods of Genesis. Additionally, the God Name for Tiphareth, the Sun/Son, is Jehovah Eloah va Daath, which essentially means God made Manifest through Knowledge. In the Arabic Kaaba and Koran, their God Name, Allah, has a numeric value of 66, the number of Tiphareth (6) multiplied by Daath (11). Please note that the Theosophical extension of the Magick Number 11 is 66! Correspondingly, there are 66 chapters in all to the present version of the Holy Bible. The Hebrew Words OMMO ShTN or Ommo Shaitan, the infernal Trinity of Satan as the Serpent, the Dragon, and the Beast, has a value of 666 by Gematria, as does ShM YHShVH or Shem Yeheshua, meaning "the Name Jeheshua" (Yeheshua being defined as the Word made Flesh), Jesus!

As if all these correlations weren't enough! And yet there are more! The Greek Word Kleis, Keys, adds to 111 by Isopsephia, while these Greek Words add to 666: H Phren, the Heart or Center as the Container or Receptacle of the emotions, which rules over all thought, words, and deeds; and Helios kai Asteres, the Sun and the Stars (from David Allen Hulse's The Key of It All). Bearing these Numbers and their Greek Words in mind, let us recall Nuit's exhortations in Chapter I "Every man and every woman is a Star" and "Be thou Hadit, my secret centre, my heart and my tongue!"

If we continue on from this point in Liber Legis, we find the Word Khabs, an Egyptian Word meaning both God and Star, which is written as a Five-Pointed figure of a star. As it is written in I :8 "The Khabs is in the Khu, not the Khu in the Khabs." The Egyptian Word Khu being associated with the invisible and immortal soul of the deceased. Uncannily, KHABS adds to 36, the Qabalistic Number of our local star, the Sun, while KHU adds to 37, the Number of Yechidah - Unity and HADIT in our Sacred Cipher!

And yet there is more! The Hindu Sanskrit term Chakra, which means Wheel, describes one of the seven vertices or centers of spiritual Light and energy within the body. The Center Chakra is associated with the Solar Plexus, so-called because it is located at the center of the body. Often referred to as an Interior Star, the Word CHAKRA adds to 36 in A = 0. Referring again to Liber Legis, we find Hadit claiming in II:6 that "I am the flame that burns in every heart of man, and in the core of every star." Recall our Greek metaphors above, if you will. The Hebrew Word LHB or Lehb, the Flame, adds to 37, as does the Islamic Zaky, God the Purifier. Also, the Islamic Kafy, God the All Sufficient is valued at 111. And, last but not the least of our numerological correlations, all of these Words add to 111 in our Sacred Cipher of A = 0: REVELATION, THE BOOK OF GOD, THE ENGLISH CABALA, I AM ONE AND NONE, ONE MAGICKAL CHILD.(vide LIBER A vel FOLLIS)

In summary, this section of the Grand Puzzle is clearly an intentional Qabalistic Cipher which revealed a special order and value for the English Alphabet, and has lead us to not only the Sun as our Center of the Universe, but of its intimate connection with the Heart of Man, yea, the Secret Center our very Being! More simply put, this little equation, 3 y x (24) (89), is all about Initiation and the means to achieve Success; that is, by acheiving Hadit. Perhaps even more importantly, this section of the Grand Puzzle has "cast off the Veil of Illusions" surrounding the misunderstood number 666, and has, through the Holy and Magickal Art of Gematria and Numerology, used in conjunction with our Grand Binary Code of 1=A=0, unified the Great World Traditions of the Hebrew Qabalah, Christianity and its cryptic Book of Revelation, the Greek Pythagorean number philosophy or Hermetic Kabbalah, the Magick Astrology of our elder Chaldean Magi, the Egyptian Kiblah of the Book of Thoth (the Tarot), the Islamic Kaaba of the Koran, and even the sevenfold Chakra system of Eastern Yoga, all under the One Law of Thelema! So mote it be!
