Leoti
Duncan Longman (right) was the president of the Freshman Class at Otterbein University for the 1895-96 school year. (More pictures and her
biography) Leoti's cousin, Maybelle Duncan George, had preceded her to Otterbein.
My husband's grandmother, Edna Adah Wells, was a freshman in 1903.
She was a graduate, therefore, she would have been in the "Class of a 1907".
She was a music major. Her home was Silver Lake, Indiana.
Among her pictures are studio portraits of "Otterbein Friends". If the surnames:
BARNS, ESTERLINE (Shelby, OH), ALSPAUGH, or ZIMMERMAN have any meaning to you,
please let me know. If you can establish a relationship to any of these people,
I would be very happy to send the pictures to you.
