Opened for business in December '94...exclusively as a teaching and learning center, featuring golf video lessons to enhance students' ability to see, feel and understand the golf swing. The use of high speed cameras allows us to go frame-by-frame forwards and backwards with the student and then our computer interface allows us to compare their swing to the PROS. We use the David Leadbetter Computer Coach, a method used in some of the top teaching centers in the U.S. and is the only full video teaching facility anywhere in the immediate area, with state-of-the-art video equipment. The student can then review their tape at home over and over till the lesson becomes permanent muscle memory.

The golf swing is something that is LEARNED, EARNED, and ACQUIRED...not something you can BUY...like a lot of people believe! Started in '95 as a teaching center, but after 6 months in business we were overly concerned with the equipment our students were showing up with for lessons...poorly fitted clubs to their bodies and swings, improper lie angles, wrong shafts for their swing speeds... bad equipment for THEIR particular game. After repeated cases of this, week after week, we decided if our students were going to be able to implement our teaching philosophies we had to also assist them with their equipment needs. We purchased a Mitchell Loft & Lie Machine (tops in the industry) to alter our students' equipment and everything has taken off from there. Presently we have fitted male players ranging from 5' 2" up to 6' 8". We presently carry approximately 25 different iron heads and about a dozen wood heads, including oversized heads, full titanium and titanium inserted clubs, and low center of gravity "rough clubs." We pride ourselves in custom fitting our customers for their SWING, their BODY, and their POCKETBOOK.Our prices for custom fit quality equipment is competitive with any dealer in the area and the equipment is fitted by a Class "A" PGA Professional with over 25 years in the business.

Steve Yando is a 14 year Class "A" PGA Member at the Golf Learning Center. He has worked at some of the busiest facilities in the Eastern U.S. Steve served as Assistant Manager at the Bethpage Golf Shop on Long Island, one of the TOP 100 Golf Shops in the U.S. and future site of the United States Open Championship. Steve also served as the Head Golf Professional at Overlook Golf Course in Lancaster for seven years.
