Welcome to my PHOTON page. This Part of my page is dedicated to the first, and best lasertag sport, PHOTON !!!

Photon started in the early 80's as the first ever lasertag game. It was created by a man in Dallas Tx named George Carter. What sets PHOTON apart from the other lasertag games, is the use of a Reverse IR technology, that enables features such as targeting lock on, and instant hit/miss feedback. It also allows for players on the observation deck to be able to practice their aim from the phaser stations, without affecting the score or outcome of the game being played on the large multi-level arena. Back in the late 80's, I played Photon in Fountain Valley CA. The FV photon was one of the largest, and used an unusual field design, known as the BETA. Here are the maps of the upper and lower levels of the arena, color coded, for you purists =) check out the Fountain Valley Photon maps .
