This now classic image shows Marilyn preparing for the premiere of Tennessee's Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Morosco Theatre in New York City in March of 1955.  On Marilyn's thirty fourth birthday, Rupert Allen hosted a dinner party in her honor at his home in Seabright Place.  Marilyn spent most of the evening with Tennessee and his mother Edwina, discussing American drama.   (c) Michael Ochs Archives Ed Feingersh photographer
