I Remember You

Storms are near and dark the sky,
The earth turns still, I know not why.
Still I remember You.

In lonely hours, I often find,
Dear thoughts of you are in my mind.
They make me smile when I am blue,
Recalling special times we knew.
Still I remember You.

Where are you now?
Maybe you're close?
When you are hurt,
What hurts you most?
I wish somehow that you could see,
That you are always here with me.
Still I remember You.

So when the moon is silver bright,
Just know I'll see the same soft light.

I'll stop and gaze upon the view,
To capture the same light you do.
Still I remember You.
Days will go by, sometimes I'll cry.
Faces will come, faces will go,
Life will continue I know.
Still I remember you.
