There have been numerous accounts of abductions by aliens. To this date noone has been able to fully explain this phenomenon.

Some explanations that have been put forth include fanatasy, psychosis, sleep paralysis, temporal lobe seizures, cultural and mythological phenomena, and even outright lying. Some people reject all such explanations and believe that these so-called "abductees" have actually been abducted by aliens!
